111 Varick

With its undulating black facade, distinctive interior design and location in the historic Printing District (now Hudson Square), we knew 111 Varick needed to make a statement that was decidedly understated, and we let the building speak for itself. In the same way a piece of artwork goes untitled so it can be experienced wholly for itself, we named this building Untitled. To create assets featuring supremely fresh interpretations, IF Studio hand selected four top graduate photographers from the MFA program in Photography, Video and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts—Weihan and Xi Zhou, Yi Hsuan, and Paul Simon—to craft original art for 111 Varick.
