We were hired for this project just as NYC was reopening post-covid. We wanted to remind everyone of the excitement and cool energy of Manhattan, specifically, Downtown. 7 Dey is quintessential NYC. Edgy sophistication mixed with NY casual coolness and a touch of unexpected wit. Emulating the photography style of Peter Lindberg and the iconic advertising campaigns for DKNY we chose the sophistication of black and white photography mixed with color. Handwritten typography was incorporated throughout the campaign assets to evoke a personal touch to make a bold, modern, self-expressive statement.
